Other than work on the truck and look at build threads, what gets you guys motivated? I'm hoping this weekend will help, going to a show and all but what else?

shows help for me, but mainly lookin at the build threads online since there isn't anyone around me into minis.

Shows help a ton but nothing works better than hitting a checkpoint: finishing a big part of the project, getting something assembled, or seeing tires finally touch the ground. Those make the tired Ian become the mutha fukkin motivated Ian! I remember I spent a good 2 months building the wishbone rear suspension in my Riviera. The final day of work on it I spent a good 11 hours in the garage, until just past midnight. I was beat to death, but when I let the jack down, hopped in, and dumped the bags. I stood back and saw the thing finally laying and it made me feel like I could have gone another 10 hours! Thats the biggest motivator in my eyes. Another thing that helps is friends that can get in there and help you out, even if its little things. Companionship in the garage, 'cause it can get lonely working by yourself for hours.

i go through bernie build thread cuz he is BOMB he is my god seriouslly(no homo) i love his work n makes me wanna try do it too..but i know i cant...lmao
