Whats up!

Postby LaidoutRivi63 on Sun Nov 15, 2009 1:17 pm

Hey everyone!

The name is Ian and I'm new to the forum. Thought I'd join after seeing the link on hte toyota minis forum! I have a big list of projects sitting in the garage and love to lay stuff out. I have been a welder/fabricator since 14, and over the years I have become pretty accomplished. I recently bought a 1970 toyota hilux that will be bagged and body dropped very soon as it is already underway. I am also trying to get my '63 Buick Riviera back on the ground after blowing the motor up in May. Its a traditional 60s style custom that is getting a lot of love! Also have a few other projects: 40 merc, 54 nash for my sister, 63 TVR, and one or two others that are too far off to mention. Look forward to gaining and sharing knowledge with all of you!

Welcome to the forum, Ian! Your projects sound sweet! You should post up some pics of some of your rides when you get a chance. I'd like to check em out.

oh and riviera plans are extensive:
-custom dash and center console, all steel
-custom grille and headlights
-tucked front and rear bumpers
-modifications to the rear bumper
-molded rear tailights with custom glass lenses fired by myself
-raked factory scoops on the side behind the door to fit fender curve
-blah blah blah....you get it, just keeping it clean and custom
